For over 15 years, Kirsten has been passionate about the effects of food on our way of life, and our ability to thrive at work, at home and at play. After witnessing health issues in her family and experiencing them personally, Kirsten resolved to make dietary changes in her life by changing her mindset about food. With 12 years of corporate experience, Kirsten has experienced the health pitfalls of the corporate life style and has integrated her wellness skills through corporate events such as Health Fairs, walking programs and even lunch makeovers. Through research, developing corporate events, listening to others, and applying eating habit shifts, Kirsten has expanded her knowledge for sharing and educating others into comprehensive health-coaching and corporate wellness programs. She has created sustainable, replicable solutions that will enable her clients to add deeper dimension and balance to their lives-- enriching their minds, bodies, and souls. In 2019, she was featured on WCVB Channel 5 Chronicle and recently her work focuses on a Working Caregivers Survival Guide Program that incorporates exercises in learning how to build resilience and thrive.
Kirsten received her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Cultural Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. By earning her certification as a Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), Kirsten broadened her understanding of dietary theories and coaching with learning over 100 dietary theories and coaching and life management techniques, with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts and leading researchers and nutrition authorities. Kirsten’s approach involves discovering innovative nutritional sources for restoring a client’s desired life balance. She leverages her passion for wellness, her understanding of the “rush” of competing priorities, and her high level of foresight to find the solutions most suited for her client’s busy lifestyle. Kirsten considers wellness a solution to many health problems and her approach ensures that her clients will eat to live—not live to eat.
Kirsten lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with her husband, little girl and geriatric cat (almost 20 years!). When she isn't exploring local cafes, neighborhoods to work in, she and her family enjoy geocaching, nature, and international travel .....and of course local cuisine!
